Samhitha Rama Prasad is a Full-stack Software Engineer at BlackRock with a Master's in Computer Science from USC, specializing in implementing data-intensive solutions that power investment management systems. She currently works on the Corporate Actions team, developing a high-scale platform that handles the complete lifecycle of corporate actions like stock splits and mergers from event sourcing to transaction settlement.

Prasad began her BlackRock career through a comprehensive rotational program across four engineering teams, gaining full-stack experience in areas including frontend development, backend APIs, platform engineering, and applications managing ETF orders worth billions in real-time. Her technical expertise spans React, Redux, Java SpringBoot, Angular, Python, Kubernetes, and various other modern technologies used in financial systems.
